Artwork Description

The litup artwork I create is based on black and white photography and mixed media that traspased by light, react transforming the initial image, as this causes color emerge and new realities shown. In this series, I use portions of photographs I took of the growth of species such as the fig tree, native to the Middle East, and on the other hand, I rescue landscapes and social aspects, using in this creative process fragments of paintings I made, drawings, discarded papers, gauze, etc. Creating two realities, which merge when backlit.
