Artwork Description

The litup artwork I create is based on black and white photography and mixed media that traspased by light, react transforming the initial image, as this causes color emerge and new realities shown. In this series, I use portions of photographs I took of the growth of species such as the fig tree, native to the Middle East, and on the other hand, I rescue landscapes and social aspects, using in this creative process fragments of paintings I made, drawings, discarded papers, gauze, etc. Creating two realities, which merge when backlit. ---------------------------------------------------- Las obras de arte iluminadas que creo se basan en fotografía en B&N y técnicas mixtas que, al ser traspasadas por la luz, reaccionan transformando la imagen inicial, lo que provoca que el color surja y muestre nuevas realidades. En esta serie, utilizo fragmentos de fotografías que tomé del crecimiento de especies como la higuera, originaria de Oriente Medio, y, por otro lado, rescato paisajes y aspectos sociales, utilizando en este proceso creativo fragmentos de pinturas, dibujos, papeles desechados, gasas, etc., creando dos realidades que se fusionan al retroiluminarlas.
